DTC EVO3 - Software for Slick – Rain Tires - 96580281AA

The Ducati Traction & Wheelie Control Evo 3 for Racing tires is now available also for the Panigale V4 MY22. Developed together with Ducati Corse technicians to considerably improve lap time, with both slick and rain tires. EVO3 is a further evolution of Ducati Traction Control, improved with refined strategy derived from Ducati Corse and designed so that throttle opening when coming out of the corner becomes even easier and more predictable. During this riding phase there can be an unwanted and unexpected slippage of the rear wheel due to the peak acceleration of the crankshaft, normally at the end of the backlash phase of the drive line. This disturbs the rider while increasing the throttle at the maximum leaning angle. The new software predictively adjusts the torque delivered by Desmo Stradale, calibrating the angular acceleration of the crankshaft so that the recovery phase is smooth. This results in more neutral handling when exiting curves with better control and riding feel for the rider. In addition, the rider can use the throttle to intervene on rear wheel slippage to a greater extent than at the "normal" level, pivoting more on the front wheel and closing the trajectory of the curve. Therefore, the system allows steering with the rear wheel, in safe conditions and with minimum risk of losing control of the bike. It can be used with both standard and Racing exhaust and can be set to 8 different positions (5 for dry track and 3 for wet track and Rain tires). Specifically, DTC EVO 3 levels 1, 2 and 3 allow for a degree of bike control that was only accessible to professional riders. An exclusive software that allows each rider to adjust the control strategy to his/her own riding style and grip conditions, in order to achieve top performance.
